Is Duckling really free?

Yes — free, with no subscription, no paywall, and no ads. If that ever changes, existing families hear it from us first, plainly, and logging and exporting your own data will never be held hostage.

What can Duckling track today?

A full feeding log — breastfeeding timer with left/right sides, bottle feeds in oz or ml, pump sessions, and early solids — plus a sleep tracker with live nap and night timers, a diaper log, freeform notes, and growth check-ins. It works for newborns through age three, and for multiple kids, twins included. Food-introduction tracking, milestones, first words, and medicine records are next on the roadmap.

Does the voice thing actually work?

That's the whole bet — and you never have to take it on faith. Duckling shows you what it understood before anything saves, asks one quick question when it's unsure, and never guesses which kid you meant. Undo is always one tap.

Is my family's data private?

Your data runs Duckling for you — it is not sold in identifiable form, not used to profile your child, not handed to data brokers. Voice audio is transcribed and discarded. Export and real deletion are always available. Details: privacy policy.

Will Duckling tell me when my baby should nap?

No, deliberately. Prediction features in other trackers guess wrong often enough that parents stop trusting the whole app. Duckling tells you what did happen, clearly. What should happen next is between you and your pediatrician.

I'm coming from Huckleberry — do I lose my history?

No. Export there, import the file here. Anything we can't map yet is held safely and appears when we support it — never dropped, and the whole import is one-tap undoable.
